Bonnie arrives

On February 28, 1988, Bonnie Lavon Hayes arrived at 4:35 PM. She was a beautiful little girl whom I did have a place in my heart. Where did that love come from? It was automatic. It was there the moment I laid my eyes on her. I was so worried that I couldn't love another baby as much as I loved Byron, but the love was there. Exploding. Don and Byron were there to welcome you into this crazy world. Byron hovered over you. I don't think he could even get enough of you. We were so excited to bring home a baby girl. Mamaw came to stay for a week to help out. PaPa, CeCe and Granny came to welcome you. You were extra special to Granny because you shared the same birthday:) Cheri and all her family came to see how beautiful you were. We were such proud parents. Big brother, Byron, loved you way too much. Sometimes I worried that he was going to lay on you.
