This is for all the new mothers. How did I forget to add this earlier? Everyone says to let your baby cry and they will go to sleep. LISTEN to them. I didn't. I couldn't stand to hear Byron cry. If there was peep from him, I was in his room. BIG mistake. He trained me very well. I would rock him until he fell asleep then I would gently lay him in his bed. The moment I let go, he would wake up and scream. There were nights that I would literally crawl out of the room so he wouldn't know I was leaving. Yes, you heard me. Crawl...on all four, like a dog. I was an idiot. But I didn't want him to cry.
Needless to say, I learned my lesson and Bonnie was a much easier baby to get to bed. I realized a little crying put them to sleep.

You learned that trick from me! Remember how I would have to treat Derek the same way! I would nurse him for hours (maybe that's why I lost 25 pounds that summer!) and the minute "I" popped out of his mouth and layed him down, he would scream! Remember when we taped his pacifier in his mouth?????
